Eva & Samuel, Portel des Corbières & La Fargo, St Pierre des Champs, May 27th 2016

Walking in the countryside, Eva & Samuel, on holiday in the South of France,  fell upon the ruins of a beautiful chapel set in the middle of the vineyards around Portel des Corbières. They immediately knoew this was the place they wanted to get married, along with their closest friends and family. Eva and Samuel are from Switzerland, and their family own a house in Sigean, so they are used to coming to this corner of the world. Their vision came to life as the sound of the warm breeze whispering through the olive trees added to the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere of their beautiful ceremony. I couldn't help do a collage of the people crying!!!! I don't think I've ever seen so much emotion at a ceremony... on our way to the reception, we stopped in a field of  red poppies in full bloom to take some photos and also came across a herd of sheep as we were taking more photos on the plane tree lined road after Saint Laurent de la Cabrerisse. What more could one ask for on their wedding day in the South of France? The dinner took place at La Fargo in Saint Pierre des Champs, an ideal location for a wedding celebration with tables set out under a kiwi trellis in the courtyard surrounded by stone buildings. Eva and Samuel, you are a beautiful couple, and we wish you the best!!
